Ever since I was little, music has been a big part of my life. From my parents and grandparents singing through everyday life, to the quiet moments in our family garden beneath the wild orchard, listening to the choir of the morning birds.

My first musical memory is going mushroom picking with my grandfather – I would sit on the back of his bicycle composing songs, and we would write them down when we returned home.

Later, I would hide in the attic and completely immerse myself in my made-up world of melodies. I would sing and sing until I completely forgot where I was, and my grandmother would have to call me again and again to come for dinner.

And now after all these years, I want to share the songs that have accompanied me through life—through my ups and downs, through day and night—because life is so much more beautiful with a song and a smile.
